Cafe Charlise is a conceptual cafe brand inspired by the vibrant energy of the Bay Run in Sydney’s Inner West. This popular loop attracts a diverse mix of people, from casual joggers and families enjoying a stroll to dedicated rowers and athletes looking to refuel after training. Cafe Charlise is imagined as a welcoming space where locals can pause for a quality coffee, grab a bite to eat, and connect with friends and family in a relaxed, community-focused setting.

The Story

Project goals: This concept design aims to engage the diverse crowd around Sydney’s Bay Run, from morning joggers to families and athletes. Cafe Charlise is envisioned as a welcoming, energising space that reflects the area’s active lifestyle and strong sense of community.

Role: Developed the logo and custom typography, and explored how the visual identity could be applied across various mediums and brand touchpoints.

A concept project designed to establish a vibrant meeting place that brings together the local community through good coffee, conversation, and a shared love for the outdoors.
